Hegge Toelevering NV launches Aluwing, manufacturer of mudguards. Aluwing develops and produces aluminum mudguards, both curved and angulated. In addition to the standard range, personalised and specific mudguards can be made on request.
The production of mudguards, which is located in Hamont-Achel (Belgium), started in 1992 upon client’s request. The client was looking for the correct technology to match his design.
Hegge Toelevering’s technical know-how was put into practice and necessary production tools were made on site. The way was paved for Hegge Toelevering’s first mudguards. Initially only for the first client, later on production grew and other interested parties were supplied. Due to increasing market demand, the production capacity grew and innovation was imperative, which resulted in the development of Hegge Toelevering’s very own machine.
Today, export has been launched in numerous countries: The Netherlands, Germany, France, Finland, Sweden, Italy, Poland… Aluwing’s mudguards are sold to various customers in Europe through local dealers.
Aluwing is a component of the Hegge Group (Hegge Toelevering NV – Hegge NV – Aluwing), a family owned business established in 1893 and currently lead by the 4th generation. Hegge started as the local blacksmith and continues to evolve into the modern metal processing company it is today.
